Car rental companies include Avis, Hertz and Europcar located in the terminal building.

Taxis are available from outside the terminal building to Aalborg and Norresundby, while the MetroBus2 and 22 to and from Aalborg and Norresundby, respectively depart every 15-30 minutes. Limo services are also available (tel: +45 70 10 20 00). Trains also run regularly between the airport and Aalborg with Londholm Station 1.8 miles (3km) and Aalborg station located 3 miles (5km) from the airport.

There are banks, bureaux de change, shops, restaurants, a lounge and disabled facilities available. Those with special needs should contact their airline in advance.

Danish is the official language, but English is understood and widely used.

Danish currency is the Krone (DKK), made up of 100 ore. ATMs are liberally sprinkled throughout the country, and all major credit cards are widely accepted, expecially Visa. Travellers cheques are welcome at banks and hotels. Most banks are not open at weekends, however Copenhagen has several bureaux de change which stay open late at night, seven days a week.
