September  – Your Rugby World Cup 2019 adventure begins with an international flight from Dublin, Cork or Shannon. You will be flying with one of our preferred airline partners - Emirates, Cathay Pacific, British Airways and Finnair.

September  –  Welcome to Tokyo.  You will arrive in the morning and be met by your English-speaking guide who will bring you to your 4* hotel. You will have a few free hours in which to rest, relax and adjust to the culture shock of being in an exciting new country.  That evening, there will be a welcome meeting and a group dinner during which you will have the opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers.

September  – A day of two halves.  The first half of the day will be spent exploring Tokyo.  The sightseeing tour will include a visit to Tokyo Tower which offers dizzying views of this huge metropolis; a trip to Tokyo’s most famous Shinto shrine, the Meihi Jingu Shrine; and a chance to explore the Omotesando area of the city which is a major luxury shopping destination that boasts breath-taking examples of modern architecture.

The latter half of the day will involve a transfer to the International Stadium Yokohama where you will take your seats for the first match of the trip, Ireland versus Scotland.

September  - You decide.  This is a full free day which you can use at your leisure.  Your package includes a SUICA Travel Card which gives you the opportunity to travel around the city, exploring its shops, visiting its temples or simply marvelling at the colourful cacophony of it all.

September  – You decide, take two.  Will you use your second day of leisure to browse through Japanese fashions in the flagship UNIQLO store in Ginza?  Will you visit the city’s renowned Tsukiji Fish Market where all of Tokyo’s best chefs buy the ingredients for their sushi?  Tokyo is ready and waiting for you.

September  –After breakfast, we will set off for Kyoto by Bullet Train. Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan is picture postcard beautiful. The city is brimming with Buddhist Temples, Imperial Palaces, Shinto shrines and traditional wooden houses. In the afternoon, you will discover the city on a sightseeing tour. We will stay in Kyoto for 2 nights in the 4* Kyoto Hotel Okura or similar.

September  – A full free day to enjoy Kyoto at your leisure.

September  – Preparing to take on the Japanese.  You will leave Kyoto and journey to Hamamatsu and your hotel for the next two nights.

September  – C’mon you boys in green!  After a morning spent at leisure, you will be transferred to the Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa for the match against Japan in the afternoon and brought back to the hotel again afterwards.

September  – Sayōnara, Japan.  It’s time to bid farewell to this incredible country as you transfer to the airport for your flight home.

September – Arrive back into Dublin, Cork or Shannon.
