Day 1 : Depart Ireland

Catch your flight out of Ireland to Tokyo. This will be an overnight flight with 1 stopover.

Day 2: Tokyo

Upon arrival at the airport in Tokyo, you will pass through passport control and baggage claim before transferring to the city, assisted by an English-speaking guide. You'll travel by public transport to your hotel, with rooms available from 15:00. The guide will provide information and assistance with check-in. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Tokyo

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a full-day guided tour of Tokyo. The tour includes panoramic views from the Bunkyo Civic Center, a visit to the Imperial Palace's Nijubashi Bridge, and the Edo Fukagawa Museum. The day concludes with a visit to the Asakusa district, home to the Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise-dori boulevard. Lunch is included. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Tokyo (Kamakura – Hakone – Tokyo)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a day of leisure. Alternatively, join an optional guided tour to Kamakura and Hakone, visiting the Great Buddha, Hasedera Temple, Hakone Shrine, and Owakudani Valley. The tour offers a glimpse of Mount Fuji (weather permitting). Meals are not included. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Tokyo – Kanazawa – Kaga Onsen

After breakfast, embark on a full-day guided tour to Kanazawa via Shinkansen bullet train. Explore the Kenrokuen Garden, Nomura Family house-museum, and Higashi Chaya geisha quarter. Later, transfer by private bus to Kaga Onsen, check-in at a ryokan, and relax in the hot baths. Dinner is served in traditional Japanese style. Overnight stay at the ryokan.

Day 6: Kaga Onsen – Shirakawa-go – Osaka

Following breakfast at the ryokan, take a guided tour to Shirakawa-go, known for its thatched-roof houses and UNESCO World Heritage status. Continue by express train to Osaka. After checking into your hotel, explore Osaka's vibrant nightlife on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Osaka – Himeji – Hiroshima

Post-breakfast, join a full-day guided tour to Himeji, visiting Koko-en Park and the White Heron Castle. Proceed to Hiroshima by private bus. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, and enjoy an included dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Hiroshima – Miyajima – Kyoto

After breakfast, embark on a guided tour to Miyajima Island, visiting the Itsukushima Shrine and its iconic torii gate. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Peace Memorial Museum and Park in Hiroshima. In the evening, take the Shinkansen to Kyoto and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Kyoto – Nara – Fushimi – Kyoto

Start the day with breakfast before a full-day guided tour of Kyoto and Nara. Visit the Golden Pavilion, Ryoan-ji Temple, and Todai-ji Temple in Nara. Stop at the Fushimi Inari Taisha on the way back to Kyoto. Lunch is included. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Kyoto

After breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure or join an optional tour to explore Kyoto and Arashiyama. The guided tour includes visits to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Gion district, Togetsu Bridge, Tenryu-ji Zen Temple, and the Bamboo Forest. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11: Kyoto – Osaka (Kansai)

Have breakfast at the hotel before your independent transfer to Kansai Airport by public transport. Rooms are available until 10 a.m. Depart from Kansai Airport for your overnight return to Ireland.

Day 12: Arrive in Ireland

Arrive back in back in Ireland, and reminisce on the magical joruney you've just returned from.
