This carefully curated itinerary combines China’s historic landmarks, cultural experiences and the thrill of the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix, offering an unforgettable journey.

The package includes all transfers, sightseeing, accommodation with breakfast and meals as listed below, bullet train from Beijing to Xi’an and flight from Xi’an to Shanghai. 

Friday, 8 March – Depart Dublin / Arrive in Beijing

Begin your journey with a flight from Dublin to Beijing, arriving in the morning. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy your first sightseeing experience with a visit to the Forbidden City, exploring the historic palaces and courtyards of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Saturday, 9 March – Great Wall & Hongqiao Market

Today, travel to the Great Wall, famous for its scenic views and well-preserved watchtowers. After experiencing this incredible site, visit the Hongqiao Market, a bustling local market perfect for souvenirs and local crafts.

Sunday, 10 March – Bullet Train to Xi’an & Calligraphy Class

Take the high-speed train from Beijing to Xi’an. Upon arrival, enjoy a calligraphy class, learning the traditional art of Chinese writing.

Monday, 11 March – Terracotta Warriors & Workshop

Spend the day exploring the Terracotta Warriors Museum, one of China’s most famous archaeological sites. After the tour, participate in a hands-on workshop to create your own Terracotta Warrior.

Tuesday, 12 March – Flight to Shanghai & Huangpu River Cruise

Wednesday, 13 March – F1 Grand Prix Day 1

Experience the thrill of the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix with your A High Stand ticket and return transfers. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore Shanghai at your own pace.

Thursday, 14 March – F1 Grand Prix Day 2

Continue the excitement of the F1 Chinese Grand Prix, enjoying the high-octane action trackside. Transfers to and from the circuit are included.

Friday, 15 March – F1 Grand Prix Day 3

Saturday, 16 March – Departure from Shanghai to Beijing

Transfer to Shanghai Pudong Airport for your flight back to Beijing. Arrive into Beiging at approximately 23:30pm.

Accommodation: Not included as flight to Dublin departs at approximately 2am so you will remain at the airport.

Sunday, 17 March – Return Flight to Dublin

Prepare for your journey home with your flight from Beijing to Dublin. Reflect on the incredible experiences, sights and memories made on your trip.

The price for this travel package is from €3,475 per person sharing.

The single supplement is €700.

A non-refundable deposit of €750 per person is due at time of booking, plus any optional supplements. The remaining balance is due 12 weeks before travel.

Insurance is mandatory for all bookings and is available from €39 per person.
